Pre-Writing Resources:
Uppercase Trace and Build Templates (A-Z)
Let your preschooler discover what types of lines it takes to build an uppercase letter! I recommend laminating these pages not only for durability, but also for repeated use as dry erase templates for your child to practice tracing each letter. Your child will learn where each letter sits in reference to the top, bottom, and mid-lines and will learn in which order to make each stroke by laying the pieces down in the correct order.

Uppercase Trace and Build Pieces
This is to be used with the Uppercase Trace and Build Templates, but may be used on its own. These pieces include all of the lines and curves that are required to build all of the uppercase letters. I recommend printing these on colored paper and laminating them for optimal ease of use. Have your preschooler first practice building the letters on the templates, and as they progress, let them build the letters on their own.

Trace and Cut Pages
Enjoy six pages of dotted lines for your child to practice tracing or cutting. Tracing these will help your child learn the movements that are necessary for writing the letters of the alphabet. These can be laminated to be used time and time again with a dry erase marker. Your child can also practice fine motor skills by using these lines as guides for cutting with scissors. I recommend printing these on card stock to provide extra sturdiness for beginning scissor users.
